GOOD WILL MESSAGE FROM HON. FELIX NARTEY ODJAO (DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE) TO THE PEOPLE OF UPPER MANYA KROBO ON THE OCASSION OF 64TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION— 06/03/2021
Oklibone! Oklibone!! Oklibone!!!
I wish on my own accord and on behalf of His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to congratulate the good people of Upper Manya Krobo on the occasion of the Ghana’s 64th Independence Day Celebration.
As we celebrate this day, it is important for all of us as a people to thank God Almighty for His Blessings upon our Beloved Country Ghana, our district and our communities, though we are unable to celebrate in the usual way due to COVID-19. Indeed, God has blessed us with bountiful blessings over this 64 years.
I wish to express profound gratitude to Hon. Assembly Members, our hardworking Public and Civil Servants, Traditional Authorities, Political Parties, Civil Society, the Business Community, Farmers, Fisher folk, and every citizen for all the sacrifices you continue make for our dear district. Together, we have been able to achieve a lot, though there is still room for improvement. Without you we could not have come thus far. May God Almighty Bless Us All.
Again, tremendous thanks goes the H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government for the unprecedented development projects and programmes we in Upper Manya Krobo continue to enjoy. Government will ensure the successful completion of ALL on-going projects so we have the full benefits thereof. We as beneficiaries are further encouraged to ensure that projects are owned and maintained to obtain full benefits and sustainability.
Today, it is important to call to memory the Unity, Sense of Purpose and Responsibility with which our forbearers fought and gained Political Independence from Colonial Rule. This must definitely serve as strong motivation for us to also continue to unite as one people, with a common destiny, working together to overcome the challenges that confront us today.
We in Upper Manya Krobo still have huge development deficit in all our developmental sectors. Developing Upper Manya must be seen as collective responsibility – DCE, MP, Hon. Assembly Members, Traditional Authorities, Public Servants, and everyone. All of us must act as an active participant in our development process, not as passive recipients of the benefits thereof. It is my utmost hope and belief that we will continue in our determination in making Upper Manya a better place than we came to meet her.
May God Bless Our Homeland Ghana
May God Bless Our District Upper Manya Krobo
May God Bless Us All.
Oklibone! Oklibone! Oklibone!
