On the 15th of May, 2025 the District Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Lawer and Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, the Member of Parliament for the Upper Manya Krobo Constituency in collaboration with the traditional chiefs of Akrusu commissioned a modern CHPS compound and staff bungalow at Akrusu Saisi.
The project was constructed by JOICPT with funding from Shionogi a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the district to provide health care need for the people in the town and its catchment areas.
