On the 12th May 2025, Hon. Micheal Konotey Narh, Assembly Member for Lower Brepaw/Akotoe Electoral Area, was successfully elected as the Presiding Member (P.M) for the Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly (UMKDA).
He was elected during a Special General Assembly Meeting organized by the Assembly for the approval and conformation of the President’s Nominee for the position of the District Chief Executive for the upper Manya Krobo District Assembly. The election was conducted by the district electoral Office.
At the end of the polls, Hon. Micheal Konotey Narh obtained a total of thirty-three (33) out of a total of Fort -Nine (49) votes cast representing 67% which constitutes more than two-thirds majority.
He was subsequently sworn-in by His worship Stephen Ofori Akrasi, the District court judge for Upper Manya Krobo District.
